Art Walks
When I lived in the Bay Area, I enjoyed getting to know the breadth and range of galleries, art spaces, and creative events in and around San Francisco. One of the many ways was doing periodical Art walks in different neighborhoods and areas of the Bay Area.
Always with friends and artists, over time we have visited the Dogpatch, Mission, Potrero, Tenderloin, Divisadero, Outer Sunset, Downtown Oakland, Headlands, Marin County, and even Point Reyes.
Timeline: 2016-2019.
Walking Tours
We journeyed through a distinct neighborhood in San Francisco and talked about important facts and history while learning tales and stories of moments, people, and places. Inspired by the context and history that makes a particular neighborhood, rich and stand out. Every walk varies by location and neighborhood, and tours have usually highlighted 1) Important buildings or monuments in the neighborhood 2) A walkthrough to the main street, and 3) End with a view or a vista of the city at large.
Co-organized with Bay Area Young Architects.

Design Gathers
A monthly meeting of creative minds. This collective hoped to share challenges, successes, resources & events with one another, encouraging engagement and discourse centered around the field of design and its periphery.
Co-founded with Erin O’Brien and Emily Ord.

Mid Month Roundtable
Centered around the topic: “What's keeping you inspired these days?” — We invite friends to join a mid-month conversation, and together share what’s keeping us inspired.
Co-Lead with Simon McKenzie.
Timeline: March to August, 2020.
Studios Salon
Salon as “a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.” Following a short presentation, there’s time to talk about the ideas presented, discuss connections from outside to our practice, and share ideas and inspiration.
Organized at Studios Architecture, co-led with Mette Shenke.
Timeline: January, 2017 to April 2019.
Satellite Studio
In the spirit of rebuilding the “studio” culture we have missed the most since architecture school, we started a series of remote “satellite studios” with a small cohort. Once a month we connect to converse, spin off ideas, and share our creative practices happening after 9-5. We make space for one another’s creative journey, learn from each other’s experiences, and current challenges, and see how our discoveries can help us see things differently and improve upon them.
Co-led with Ewelina Olechowska.
