What if our backyards become places to grow sustainable foods together?

Humus was conceived as a collaborative platform that connects communities across lands to grow food together, in real-time and space, with sustainable and self-sufficient initiatives. We believe that everyone should have equal access to fresh, safe, and sufficient food anywhere, anytime. What’s a better way to start, than our own backyard?

Deeper dive into the process of branding and ideation.

Relevance and engagement

Humus is a collaborative land-sharing community. We are connecting those who believe in smarter, more sustainable, local food sources. We are creating a network of self-sufficient urban gardens by connecting individuals or collectives with available land, and those looking to get involved in the process of growing food, for a longer-term partnership. Together, we are changing how people think and access food. We aim to help communities around the world to start their own local and micro-farming at the scale of the community garden.

We would like to demonstrate the importance of research-based initiatives, user-centricity, and early onboard real users, as well as long-term sustainability when creating new digital products. Ultimately, we envision this conversation as an opportunity for our panelists (users of this product) to discuss their ongoing development and participation in the development of this service, and share with the audiences what’s working, and not, as we set the launch of this service for the future.
